AI usage & responsibility
Last updated: March 2025
Career24 uses artificial intelligence in limited ways—for example to help generate or classify practice questions, parse imported materials, or produce narrative insights in reports. This page summarises how we use AI and what you should expect.
What we use AI for
- Generating or refining multiple-choice items and explanations, subject to review workflows.
- Extracting structured data from text or documents you or admins upload for import into the question bank.
- Producing explanatory or summary text in analytics where enabled.
Human oversight & accuracy
AI outputs can be incorrect or incomplete. We apply checks where feasible, but you should treat AI-generated explanations as study aids—not as definitive academic or legal advice. Always verify critical facts against official syllabi and sources.
Data sent to model providers
When a feature calls an external model, relevant text (e.g. question stems, your responses for scoring, or pasted import text) may be transmitted to that provider under their terms. We select providers and settings to minimise unnecessary data exposure.
Your responsibility
Do not submit highly sensitive personal data (e.g. government ID numbers, health records) into free-text fields unless the product explicitly asks for them. Use the service as a learning tool, not as a substitute for professional counselling or regulated advice.
